(Al-Maeda) 5 : 61

And when they come to you, they say: "Indeed, we believed, surely they entered with disbelief and they left with it, while Lord Allah is Knowing what they have been concealing".

This verse reveals the character of hypocrites and Jews at the time of Messenger as explained in verses 3: 78; 4: 46, and 5: 41-42. It is told in verses 47: 16-17: "Among hypocrites, are those who listen to Messenger until when they depart from him, they say to those who were given Knowledge: 'What he has just said now?' Those are the ones of whom Lord has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their whims".

It is told in verses 9: 124-125: "And whenever a Surath is revealed, there are among them who ask as ‘how many of you had increased faith with this’. Then for those who believed, it will increase their faith and they are rejoicing in It. And for those in whose hearts have a disease, then Adhikr will increase filth over filth, and they have died as disbelievers".

Today the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar are hiding and rejecting Adhikr. These disbelievers mentioned in verse 3: 10 will conduct classes that teach the body of the Book (meaning) without Its soul (contents). By forgetting the Lord, they are performing bodily prayer without considering the soul and Hereafter which is against verse 7: 205. It is commanded through verse 51: 50: “You rush into Lord” which means you rush into Adhikr. But accidentally if these Fujjar happen to hear Adhikr, they will run from there as wild donkeys run away hearing the lion’s roar as told in verses 63: 9 and 74: 49-51. They are not utilizing Lord’s Book and are not giving It to other people, by doing so they are not destroying any except themselves, but they perceive it not as explained in verse 3: 108. Adhikr is filthy for the filthy hypocrites as explained in verses 9: 28 and 95. See explanation 2: 8-11; 3: 72-73, and 4: 141-145.
